Sarah Frangenberg (Wichita, Kansas) graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA from UMKC’s Conservatory of Music and Dance in May 2017. While at UMKC, she had the privilege of dancing in Beijing, China with UMKC’s Wind Symphony at the Beijing Modern Music Festival, and performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. In her sophomore year of college, Sarah moved to LA briefly to star as Emma in the feature film Lift Me Up. She has taught and performed frequently with Kathryn McCormick, most notably in Bangkok, Thailand, Melbourne, Australia, and San José, Costa Rica. The past three summers, she has been a counselor and assistant at Camp Protégé, a dance camp in Calgary, Canada, under the direction of Stacey Tookey. After moving to New York almost a year ago, she has been learning the ways of being a free-lance artist, and has been able to research different movement outside of school. This summer, she was honored to study Gaga under Bret Easterling and Ohad Naharin at the first ever Jacob’s Pillow Gaga Program 2018. Sarah is thrilled to be back in Kansas City performing again with Wylliams/Henry in her 4th season.
