To Have and to Hold by Shapiro and Smith
music by Scott Killian
An exciting work with a commisioned score by Sctoll Killian that intermingles wood and bodies in a personal view of relationships and loss. On, around and under three long wooden benches, six dancers slide, fall and support each other as the wor reminds us of those we have loved and lost but not forgotten.
Ritual by Amber Perkins
Ritual is a dramatic and breathtaking physical duet set to the poignant music of Arvo part. Ritual showcases then technical brilliance of the dancers in a primal/mating ritual between a man and a women that will leave the audience spellbound.
Shah Tah Tee by Leni Wylliams
Set to the driving rhythms of M. Shrieve this signature piece blends the sensuous movements of the Middle East with the bold, striking movement of contemporary dance to create a visual montage of vibrant images that explode with energy.
Desire by Gary Abbott
Desire by Gary Abbott is a stunning visual work portraying the attraction of individuals for each other. Set to the music of Hans Zimmer and Geoff McCormick, three couples exchange glances, feel impulses of desire and love and the primal urge for physical connection to each other.
Suite Love by Lonnie Davis
The "Suite Love" is a piece of three movements and it is an examination of the complexities and similarities in all types of relationships. Be it traditional or "non". I want to show the audience that the love one feels or experiences is very much the same no matter the type. We as humans all experience hurt...loss...joy and happiness when searching for that true love.
