Raised in Pennsylvania, Tracy began her training in Erie, at the early age of 3. She attended the High School for Performing & Visual Arts where she received a scholarship to study at the Lake Erie Ballet School and Erie Bayfront Dance where she later returned to instruct, choreograph and perform as a guest artist. She received scholarships to attend the Pennsylvania Governors School, Point Park College Summer Intensive, Jacob's Pillow with Milton Myers in Lee, MA and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York, where she was asked to personally demonstrate for School Director, Denise Jefferson. She continued her education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA on scholarship where she was chosen to demonstrate modern techniques for such legendary teachers as Yuriko, Mary Hinkson, Dudley Williams, Pat Thomas, and Milton Myers.
Ms. Vogt's personal accomplishments include receiving the Philadelphia Rocky Award for Dance Excellence and serving as the Assistant Rehearsal Director, Master Class instructor, soloist and principal dancer for the world renowned PHILADANCO for twelve years, where she still remains as a guest artist. She has also performed professionally with Footprints Dance Company in NY, NY, Wylliams / Henry Dance Theatre in Kansas City, MO, Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theater, and Verb Ballets in Cleveland, OH, directed by Hernando Cortez. She has performed principal roles and/or premiered works by Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, Donald Byrd, Elisa Monte, George Faison, David Parsons, Daniel Ezralow, Talley Beatty, Gene Hill Sagan, Christopher Huggins, Trey McIntyre, Ron K. Brown, Fred Benjamin, Bill T. Jones, Sean Curran, Bebe Miller, Camille Brown, Kevin Iega Jeff, Dwight Rhoden , Carmen DeLavallade and Dianne McIntyre.
Ms. Vogt was the Rehearsal Director for the Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theater, Verb Ballets and Rebecca Davis Dance Company. She has also taught in many schools, colleges, and Universities across the United States and abroad including North Atlanta High School, Roswell Dance Theater, Philadanco, University of the Arts, University of Akron, Ohio State University, University of Missouri in Kansas City, Lake Erie Ballet, Erie Dance Conservatory, Dancing Wheels Dance Company and Verb Ballets in Cleveland, OH. She most recently returned from teaching a residency in Rwanda, Africa in December 2010.
Ms. Vogt is also a certified Lifeguard and Power Yoga teacher.
